What is Agarwood?
A Also known as Agarwood, Aloe Wood, and Goldenwood, Agarwood is nature's most exquisite aromatic creation. Deep in the jungles of the Far East, an evergreen tree became infected. Just as our body's immune system produces white blood cells, the tree began to produce a substance to fight the infection. Over the years, the infection grew - and so did the substance the tree produced. This is Agarwood. Few natural aromatics have such a complex spectrum of scents as Agarwood. Natural ambergris, musk, and rose also rank among the most valuable natural fragrances, but none can compare to Agarwood in terms of the sheer transcendence and sublimity that its aromas reveal. More than just a scent, Agarwood appeals to the mind and soul. In fact, samples from different regions seem to have an effect on a person's mood as well. For example, Indonesian essential oils often bring about feelings of joy and frivolity, while Indian essential oils have deeply calming properties, which makes them popular aids to meditation.

What is the difference between agarwood oil and agarwood perfumeFragrances, muhalat, perfumes, colognes and other commercially available perfumes are a combination of different ingredients.Unlike the above ingredients, pure Oud oil is a perfume in itself in terms of its composition
not mixed with anything else.
That's about the composition. As for the difference in their smell, then none of them can compare to Oud. While many essences and other fragrances can be very pleasing, Oud is more than just a smell, it appeals to the wearer on many different levels
Can I mix Oud with other perfumes?
Of course.
If you are new to Oud, you may find that you prefer to mix it with cologne, essence or muharrat because the smell of Oud itself is very strong. You may want to lighten its smell.
However, once you become more accustomed to and addicted to the scent of pure Oud, you may be more reluctant to mix it with anything else. In fact, this is how Oud should be!
I've heard that Oud is very strong and overwhelming
It's true that the smell of Oud is one of the strongest in the world of perfumery, and it can even be said to be the strongest. But for the uninitiated, the first breath after application and the smell directly from the bottle can be overwhelming. That’s why we strongly recommend starting with a very small amount applied and not smelling the oil directly.
Over time, your nose will get used to the smell and you’ll find that the smell of oud is absolutely delightful from application to dryness.
Which Oud is the best?
We recommend that you sample different ouds. Many people really like the earthy, farmhouse, and slightly fecal-smelling qualities of Indian oud, while others prefer the sweeter, more ethereal Indonesian oud.
Eventually, you may find that you like ouds from all regions, as they all have something unique to offer, even if their properties and scent profiles are very different.
Why do different agarwood oils smell so unique?
The climate in which the tree grew, the age of the tree, and the distillation and aging techniques all have an impact on the smell of different ouds.
Is there a gender difference in the use of oud?
Absolutely not.
Oud oil is most popular and used in the Gulf countries of the Middle East, where men use it for special occasions, parties, and things like that. In Yemen, oud is an integral part of the groom’s dowry to his bride.
Oud is more than just a "fragrance" and can be divided into male and female scents.
On the contrary, nature's gift to us is much more than that, and gender is not necessary to enjoy this precious gift of nature.
When should I use oud?
You may initially find yourself wanting to use oud on special occasions.
However, more often than not, you may find yourself enjoying oud so much that you want to use it every day. In fact, some people even use it several times a day because they can't get enough of it.
